Tutorial #22 - How to draw connecting lines on the Tacticsboard canvas

Drawing multiple connected lines
Instead of drawing several lines close to each other, you can use the multi-line tool to draw connecting lines.

1. Select the Multi-Line tool below

2. Move the cursor to where you want the line to start and click the mouse button (you do not need to hold the mouse button in like you do when you draw a line)
3. Now move the mouse to where you want the first line to finish and click the mouse button once (the first line will appear below)

4. Move the mouse to the next position and click, so you see a line appear from where the last line ended.
5. Repeat steps two (2) and three (3) until you have the lines exactly where you want them.
6. Double click the mouse button to release the tool and place the line onto the canvas (as below)

Modifying the connected lines
With the selector tool, you can change the lines you have created easily.

1. Click the selector tool (below)

2. Now click the point at the end of the line you need to change. You will see a black circle appear on the line point (below)

3. Simply drag the point to where you want the line to finish, you will notice this alters the connected lines as well.

4. Double click the canvas to release the line selected.

Note: You can also delete any selected point on the line by pressing the keyboard shortcut delete key (del)
