Tutorial #17 - How to upload your own custom canvas images

The upload canvas feature is only available to users with a club license.

Being able to upload your own canvas images has many benefits, you can upload video frames for analysing formations, mentoring players, correcting positions, fixing postures and so on because as soon as you upload your own image it immediately becomes available to everyone who uses your Tacticsboard.

Additionally, you can discuss situations with your peers and save them out for using at a later date.

To upload your own canvas images, there are a few things you need to know.

A. Tacticsboard canvas background images can be in jpg format only.
B. The dimensions of the canvas area is 1021 pixels wide by 700 pixels high. So you can upload HD quality images and they look just as good on the Tacticsboard as they do on a HD television.
C. You can apply a different image to each page within a presentation so you can effectively upload frames of a video clip to create a series of animated presentations.

Uploading a custom image
1. Open the upload manager by clicking the "Upload Manager" function button (below)

You will now see the upload manager window below:

2. Click the browse button and locate the jpg image you want to upload to your Tacticsboard, then click upload, then you will see a message that the image has been uploaded.

3. After you have uploaded your image, click the refresh button. You should now see an image similar to the example below where we uploaded a hi definition image from a world cup match below.

That's it, you have now successfully uploaded a custom image to your Tacticsboard. To load the image onto your Tacticsboard simply use the load canvas function button and locate the image you want to load up in your board library. (as shown in tutorial 11)

If everything went well, then your image should be loaded onto your canvas for you to draw over and discuss. The example below shows our demo Tacticsboard with the custom image we have just uploaded, then we have highlighted one of the players with one of the highlighting markers available.

You can upload a sequence of images from a video like this and load them on different pages on your Tacticsboard giving you an animation sequence. And everyone connected to your Tacticsboard see exactlyt he same image!.Tutorial #17 - How to upload your own custom canvas images
