Tutorial #10 - How to save your Tacticsboard presentations

As mentioned in tutorial #9, all presentations you save are saved to your Tacticsboard library. This means whoever you invite to use your Tacticsboard can load the files up anytime even if you are not connected.

In order to save a presentation file, you must first be either the owner of the Tacticsboard or an Author (which we discussed in tutorial #3)

When you save a presentation, there are a couple of things you need to know.

A. Tacticsboard is a multi-user system, so there may be times where you have different people connected to your Tacticsboard. To stop files being accidently overwritten, we version control the files automatically for you.

What this means is if you save a file called "test", the next time you save that file out it will be called "test_v1" and so on.

B. When you presentation is saved, the coach notes, audio and video are saved to the presentation file as well.

Now you know about how the save feature works, let's have a go at saving a test file.

1. Click the save presentation function button shown below

This will bring up a the save presentation window shown below:

Simply type in the name you want to call the presentation file and click save.

The presentation file has now been saved to your tacticsboard library.

Version Control
As mentioned earlier, if the presentation file already exists tin your library then a version number will be added to the end of the file. So if test_v9 exists then the next time you save test, it will be saved as test_v10.

Once you have your final file you can easily delete the previous files.
